Prepare Smarter for the
CAT4 Assessment
Build cognitive confidence and maximize performance on the Cognitive Abilities Test (CAT4). Our specialists help students strengthen all four reasoning batteries.
What is the CAT4?
The Cognitive Abilities Test (CAT4) is a standardised assessment developed by GL Assessment, widely used by schools across the UK, Ireland, and internationally to measure students' developed abilities and potential.
Unlike curriculum-based tests, CAT4 assesses reasoning and thinking skills across four domains — giving educators a holistic picture of a student's learning profile.

The Four CAT4 Batteries
We provide targeted practice for every component of the CAT4.
Verbal Reasoning
Vocabulary, word analogies, and verbal classification tasks that assess language-based reasoning.
Non-Verbal Reasoning
Figure matrices, spatial reasoning, and pattern recognition using shapes and symbols.
Quantitative Reasoning
Number analogies, number series, and quantitative relationships to measure numerical thinking.
Spatial Ability
Figure recognition, paper folding, and 2D/3D spatial visualization exercises.
