At dolessons, we strive to ensure both tutors and students have a dependable scheduling experience. This Cancellation Policy explains how we handle changes or cancellations so everyone's time is respected.

Overview

At dolessons, our goal is to provide a reliable platform connecting students and expert tutors. We understand that plans can change, and this Cancellation Policy outlines the rules and timelines for canceling or rescheduling sessions. By booking a session on dolessons, you agree to these terms.

Student Cancellations

Students can cancel or reschedule sessions from their dashboard under the following conditions:

More than 24 hours before the session: You may cancel or reschedule the session without any penalty. A full refund or credit will be issued to your account balance.

Less than 24 hours before the session: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled start time may incur a late cancellation fee of up to 50% of the session cost, to compensate the tutor for their reserved time.

No-Shows: If a student fails to attend a scheduled session without prior notice, the full session fee will be charged.

Tutor Cancellations

We hold our tutors to high professional standards. If a tutor needs to cancel or reschedule:

They must notify the student at least 24 hours in advance whenever possible.

If a tutor cancels at any time, the student is entitled to a full refund or can choose to reschedule the session without any extra charges.

Frequent cancellations or no-shows by tutors are reviewed by the dolessons quality assurance team and may result in account suspension.

Refund Process

Eligible refunds are automatically credited back to your original payment method or dolessons wallet balance, depending on your preference.

Processing Time: Refunds to a credit/debit card or bank account typically take 3-5 business days to reflect, depending on your financial institution.

Wallet Credits: Refunds sent to your dolessons wallet are instant and can be used immediately for future bookings.

Disputes & Exceptions

In the event of an emergency, technical failure on the dolessons platform, or a dispute regarding a cancellation, our support team will evaluate the situation on a case-by-case basis. Please contact support@dolessons.com within 48 hours of the scheduled session to request an exception.
